Last weekend we had the opportunity to visit the Golra Railway Museum. It was really wonderful to get out and experience a little bit of the country outside the middle of Islamabad. The museum dates from the time of the British Raj, and is still a functioning station today. The curator is doing everything he can to preserve a few interesting artifacts from the colonial period, and what we saw we found interesting. My favorite part, though, was getting the chance to see everyday Pakistani people.
